Sinead O'connor, the controversial singer
Sinead Mary Bernadette O'connor is for many, one of my favourite female singers. She is incredible and always sorprise me gratefully. She born in Irlanda the 8th of december of 1966. Actually she have 48 years.
Sinead made famous because her polemic declarations and her eccentricity in the scenary, and evidently, because she shave her head. One of the most remember situation was when in 1992, in a TV show in live called "Saturday Night Live", she slice a photography of the Papa Juan Pablo II, meanwhile sing "War"of Bob Marley and sayed the word "evil" in front of the camera. She argument "fight the real enemy" in concequence of the sexual abuse maked by the Catholic Church. Years later Sinead ask for sorry to the Papa, but she don't feel repentant because her actuation.
But this rebel girl it was product, in part, of a torment relationship of her parents. When Sinead had eight years her parents divorced. Three of the five of her brothers, include her, go to live with their mother and they suffer frequently physical abuse. Her song "Fire on Babylon" it is result of her own abuse.
However the fame will come when in 1989 she launch "Nothing compares to you" with a grate vocal ability. The song climb the list of popular modern rock music.
In the personal, Sinead have four children, has been married twice and in different occasion she confessed to be lesbian. Sinead, in my opinion, an example of courage.
The former is an extract of her life, but the things that she have to support are very more extensive and painfully. It is for all this reasons that Sinead is and always will be a warrior and a flame that will never die.
